Spring Party

It's been a long time since our last post. We were extremely busy preparing for testing and once it was finally over we PARTIED! Benchmark testing was complete on Friday, April 13th so we had our belated Easter party that afternoon. We had an egg race, an egg toss, and ice cream floats.  It was a great end to a LONG week of testing:)

Picnic at the Park

After the movie, we went to Carol Ann Cross Park for a picnic lunch and playtime. We were worried it might rain, but it turned out to be a beautiful, HOT day! What a great way to spend the Friday before Spring Break:)

The Lorax

On Friday, March 16th, we went to the movies! The entire third grade went on a field trip to see The Lorax. The kids were munching on their popcorn and enjoying every minute of the movie. No one even asked to go to the bathroom during the movie...you know it was good if not one child asks to go to the bathroom in the middle of the movie:) Here are some pictures of us at the Malco Theater.

Two More Spelling Stars!

Kade and Eli were able to complete their Spelling Sticker Charts before Spring Break! Way to go boys:)

More Guest Readers

What a great week! It was so much fun having parents come in and be our guest readers last week. I know it meant a lot to the students and they absolutely LOVED all the amazing Dr. Seuss stories:) Here are a few pictures of some of our other guest readers.
