We went on our first field trip this year. We went to see the performance of Annie at the UAFS campus. The students watched the movie in music class, so this was a great opportunity for them compare and contrast the movie to the play.

We had a GREAT Halloween Party with all things orange! We had nachos, orange pop, orange oreos, and of course, CANDY! We had some very interesting and unique costumes...can you tell who's who?
Here's a few extra pictures we took just for fun:)
The students learned about spiders during the month of October. We created this chart after reading several informational books and magazines about spiders.
We also did a KWL chart as we studied about spiders. The students wrote down things that they Knew about spiders, things they Wondered about spiders, and things they Learnedabout spiders. Then they wrote an informational text about spiders and we made spider egg sacs. The egg sacs were a lot of fun!
