Bees...Honey Bees!

Last week we had a wonderful guest speaker that brought a "hive" of friends along! Mr. Danny Brewer set up a glass display of honey bees. We learned that honey bees are pollinators and play a very essential role in our ecosystem. He showed us some of the tools that he uses to take care of his bees and their hives. After that, the kids got to take a close look at the honeybees in the glass display. They were beyond amazed...and I was right there with them:) Check out some of the pictures from our "bee lesson."
